About David Hardy

David Hardy is a Nashville native who has lived and worked in the area his whole life. He grew up in a family deeply tied to the local community. His dad and mom owned a neighborhood sporting goods store, and his mom was a seamstress, working with local companies around town. From them, David learned the importance of leadership, hard work, and treating people with respect and kindness. These family values have always shaped how David shows up for his community both personally and professionally, and they’re what inspired him to run for state senate.

David has a heart for service and a proven track record of leadership and innovation throughout his career. His years in the healthcare space, working to improve our community’s quality of life through better systems and technology, have given him the problem-solving skills we need in our legislature. David will bring his creative and compassionate outlook to help build safer neighborhoods, stronger local businesses, and foster a culture of respect both in the legislature and in our communities. He believes our representatives should bring people together and support thriving, safe communities — not fuel division.
